Gift Spreadsheet

The thank you notes have (finally) all been written and sent for all the generous birthday gifts Annabelle received.  I’m sort of a stickler for writing thank you notes, and while I never like to wish away time, I must say that I’m excited for the day when Annabelle can write her own thank yous, thank you very much.

Since I was just updating it, I wanted to share the spreadsheet that we use to keep track of all the gifts we receive as a family.  For sentimental reasons it’s nice to keep track of who gave us what, and for practical reasons it keeps me organized so that I can reciprocate appropriately when the occasions arise.

It’s a pretty basic spreadsheet, with a place to put the occasion, the date, the gift giver’s name, the gift given, if a thank you was sent, and a section for notes.  (I use the notes section to write different things.  For example, when typing up all of Annabelle’s gifts, I wrote in the notes section whether or not the gift giver attended her party.)

So, without further ado (and because I can’t think of any way to make this spreadsheet sound exciting), here is my Gift Spreadsheet. Enjoy!  If you want to check out Annabelle’s handmade Thank You Notes, click HERE.

P.S. If you haven’t already seen it, you can check out my Grocery Shopping Spreadsheet HERE.  I pinky swear it will save you a ton of time when you shop!   Trust me!

  1. Thank you notes are such a beautiful, old-fashioned, lovely-mannered thing to do. I sent them for my wedding gifts but have not come across them for birthdays…perhaps that’s an Australian thing. Love the idea though!

  2. Can you please print out your gift spreadsheet for me and also a supply of grocery spreadsheets for me as well. They are GREAT ideas! Thanks.
